101 Things in 1001 Days
I started this on January 9, 2010, and… yeah! I’ll be editing this along the way in order to keep track of my progress. You can find the fancy version (complete with notes and everything!) over here. Wish me luck!
Go on a road trip- Complete a jigsaw puzzle
- Go camping for a weekend
- Go to five concerts
- Learn how to play the guitar
- Try being a ovo-lacto-vegetarian for at least one week
- Keep a (handwritten) poetry journal
- Complete my AA and begin my BA studies
- Watch all of the movies on the AFI’s lists
- Sew ten pieces of clothing for myself
- Catalog every piece of media in the house
- Paint every room in the house
- Save enough money to open a savings account
- Lose forty pounds
- Make ten plushies to give as gifts
- Enroll in a cooking class
- Read every single book that I own
- Take a photo every day for one month
- Make and send Christmas/holiday cards to everyone I know
- Write a letter to my grandmother once a month
- Start a compost pile/bin and reduce waste
- Organize the spare room and turn it into a home office
- Throw one party at my house
- Refrain from eating out for two weeks
- Test my blood sugar
- Try out geocaching
- Plant something and keep it alive for an entire season
- Regularly post on a blog (one post per week minimum)
Buy a swimsuit and wear it in public- Start collecting something
- Participate in a 5K run/walk
- Abstain from buying coffee from a coffeeshop or coffee stand for one month
Amass over 40 volunteer hours at the elementary school- Sort and give away all of our clothes that do not fit or are unworn
- Donate money, goods or services to a charity
- Learn a computer language
- Learn fifty words in Tagalog or Kapampangan
- Write, design and mail out a ‘zine
- Have something published in a magazine or high-profile website
- Organize the house and keep it clean on a regular basis
- Go to a nerd convention
- Sing in front of someone
- Participate in a pub quiz
- Finally get that tattoo I’ve been wanting for years
- Watch a story arc of classic Doctor Who
- Play through a Dungeons and Dragons campaign
- Go on a day hike
- Go to bed before 10pm every night for a week
- Wake up at 6am every day for a week
- Go to twelve museums and/or art galleries in the span of a year
- Go whale watching at the San Juan Islands
- Visit another country (not including Canada)
- Eat a foreign food that intimidates me

- Watch an entire series of anime (minimum: 20 episodes)
- Invest in a bread machine and make three loaves of bread
- Drive a stick shift to the store and back
- Buy a bicycle and use it to commute
- Pack lunches for everyone in the house every weekday for two weeks
- Watch every movie that was awarded the Academy Award for Best Picture before I was born
- Go seal watching at the Oregon Coast
- Decorate the inside and the outside of the house for the holidays

- Prepare five traditional Filipino dishes
- Attend ten theatrical performances
- Join a CSA for at least one month
- Attend my high school reunion

- Completely reorganize the entire house

- Go to a salon or day spa with my mother

Buy/rent a cello and a violin and begin playing regularly again- Fly in a small aircraft
- Become happy with what I see when I look in the mirror
- Finish a week of New York Times crossword puzzles (Monday – Sunday)
- Buy/create ten pieces of art and frame them for the house
- Make an arrangement/score for a popular song
- Film and edit a short video
- Get a part-time job which is fulfilling
- Collaborate with someone on a short comic
- Become proud of myself and my accomplishments
